This is our invitation.
​
It’s more than just playing songs. We exist to see lives restored with the gospel for God’s glory. This means that, in everything we do, we’re motivated by our desire to see people set free by the gospel of Jesus Christ. We create music - songs that are “gospel capsules” - to put gospel truths in the hearts of our people. This builds up our church and brings glory to God.
STEP 1: FILL OUT THE APPLICATION
This application will ask you a few questions. Go ahead and fill out the application for your home campus.
STEP 2: REVIEW AND SIGN OUR WA CULTURE DOCUMENTS
Print, read, sign, and return these to your campus Worship Minister. These documents put into words who we are as an arts team. By signing and agreeing to this, you're agreeing to strive to bring God glory by upholding these values and loving the rest of our team well. We hold each other accountable, and, by being on the same page, we can move forward as one heart and soul.
STEP 3: WATCH THESE VIDEOS
STEP 4: TALK WITH YOUR WORSHIP MINISTER ABOUT SHADOWING
The next step is for you to begin what we call "shadowing." Whenever you're available, we'll put you on the schedule (VIA Planning Center Online) to come to a band/AVL run-through. You will:
- come to run-through at 7a on a Sunday
- watch the sound check and run-through
- stay for pre-gathering prayer and plan meeting
- hang w the team in the green room and get to know peeps
- pray with the band during the 3 min countdown

Once you've gotten a feel for the pace of rehearsal, you can shadow a second time and play your instrument along with the band. This will help you get a feel for mixing your in-ear monitors, what it takes to play a clean set, and get to know the other team members.
