A HOME FOR ARGYLE

 

We are thrilled to announce that TDC Argyle will be moving to a new building in the heart of Argyle! 

 

The Lord has graciously brought this building to our attention multiple times, and after a time of prayer, discussion, and seeking counsel the elders believe this is the right move for the Argyle campus. We have signed a long-term lease and Lord willing, intend to purchase the building in the next several years.

 

We are calling this campaign One Heart & Soul: A Home for Argyle. There are two reasons:

 

1. This will be a home for TDC in Argyle. In Acts 4:32, it says the believers in the early church were of "one heart and soul", meaning they were united by the Holy Spirit in love for Jesus and therefore one another. This building will be the physical home for our church family in Argyle.

 

2. This will be a home for newcomers in Argyle. The Lord is moving in mighty ways to draw people to Jesus through TDC. People are meeting Jesus and inviting their friends. This facility will be a convenient and accommodating building to welcome new people to come to hear the gospel and be welcomed into Christ-centered community!

• 2-story building located at 202 Cook Street

• Across the street from Argyle Middle School

• Renovations will begin soon

• Expected move-in: early part of 2024

 

We invite you to join us in this campaign! At this time, we simply ask that you would please pray for the project — for the safety of the workers, for fundraising, and most of all that this building would be a place where Jesus is magnified.  

 

Praise God for this opportunity to grow, deepen our roots in Argyle, and to expand TDC's gospel presence. The best is yet to come!
